Typography

Typeface

Two typefaces. Instrument Sans does the everyday work, headlines to menus, in Semibold and Regular. PT Mono is the small print: the address on the carrier, the hours on the card, labels and prices, set in capitals so it reads like a stamp.

Try it

Type a menu line in Instrument Sans, then the address in PT Mono capitals. Try a headline in Semibold at a big size.

Hierarchy

Hierarchy comes from size and weight first. Headlines are Semibold and set tight, text is Regular with room to breathe, and the small print steps down to PT Mono capitals with a little letter spacing.
