Illustration
Overview
Illustration at Balboa is cut paper: simple shapes with scissor edges, one color each, no outlines. Cups, suns, hands, boards and bread, drawn big and placed over photographs in Butter, or on paper in Ink.
Style
The set so far. New shapes should be cut the same way: one piece of paper, no detail inside, slightly uneven edges.
Patterns
The B checker: the symbol filling its square, cells and letters swapping two close tones. Ink on screens and dark print, Milk on paper.
