Logo

Our logo is the wordmark: Balboa in chunky hand-cut capitals, drawn once and never retyped, with the small mark at its shoulder. The symbol is the B on its own, for cups, icons and the checker. The wave is a third mark for merchandise, never in place of the logo. Use the wordmark wherever there is room.

Give the logo room. Keep half the height of the B clear on every side, measured from the mark itself, and let nothing cross into it: no type, no photograph, no second logo.

The logo is Ink on Milk, Fog and Butter, and Milk on Ink and Indigo. On photographs it is Milk, placed over a calm part of the picture. Never set it in Sand, and never in a color outside the palette.
