Privacy Policy

This is what Joisti collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we keep what we need to run the product, we do not sell anything, and there are no ads.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
- Your name, if you add one, to show in the app and on the guides you publish.
- The brands you build: logos, colours, type, pictures, words, and the settings of each guide.
- Basic technical records: when you signed in, what went wrong if something did, and the address a request came from. These are kept for a short time to keep the service running and safe.
Without an account, your brands live only in your browser's storage. We do not see them.
What we do with it
We use it to run Joisti: to save your work, to sign you in, to show a published guide to its readers, and to fix problems. We do not sell data. We do not show ads or use tracking for ads.
We may email you about your account, about changes to these policies, and about things that affect your work. We will not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else sees it
- Supabase, which hosts our database, sign-in and file storage, in the United States.
- Vercel, which hosts the website and the app.
- A payment processor, when payments arrive; they handle card details so we never see them.
- Anyone with the address of a guide you have published, for whatever that guide shows.
Each of these works under its own privacy terms, and we only pass on what each needs to do its job.
Cookies and storage
We use one cookie: the session that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
The app also uses your browser's own storage to keep brands you build before signing in, and to remember small preferences such as how your brands are sorted.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete a brand it is removed from our systems; when you delete your account, everything in it goes. Backups are cleared on their own schedule, within thirty days.
Technical records are kept for up to ninety days.
Your rights
You can see, export, correct and delete your data from inside the app. If something is not covered there, write to us and we will do it by hand. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as to complain to a data protection authority; we will help with that where we can.
