Accessibility
Last updated 2 October 2026
Joisti should work for everyone who builds a brand with it and everyone who reads a guide made with it. This is where we stand and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across joisti.com, the app, and the guides it publishes: text with enough contrast to read, every control reachable from the keyboard, labels for screen readers, and descriptions for images.
We check new work against these guidelines with automated tests and by hand, and fix what we find.
Guides made with Joisti
A published guide shows its brand's own colors, type and pictures, chosen by the designer who made it. Joisti points out color pairs that are too close to read, but the final choices are theirs.
Known gaps
Some editing works best with a mouse or trackpad, such as dragging to reorder sections or to set color proportions. We are working on keyboard ways to do the same.
Tell us
If something on Joisti is hard or impossible for you to use, write to hello@joisti.com with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what happened. We reply within five working days and will help you get done what you came to do in the meantime.
